Coaching Margarito?

Rumors have been abound about whether Freddie Roach will indeed be Antonio Margarito's new trainer.  With the likelihood that Capetillo will be banned for life from training any fighters in the U.S. and most other countries, Margarito looks to redeem himself and what better way to do that than to hire one of the most credible Boxing trainers around?

  1. He talks about the amount of coaching that would be required for margarito's fundamental flaws. However, I'm curious as to how language will be a barrier to that.

  2. I think training and trying save this man's career will just add more distractions and may disrupt the evenflow and moral of the gym, knowing there is someone training there who may have corrupted the sport in the highest regard, would rub me the wrong way.Maybe he is innocent but the way he handled the situation has not made him any more forgivable in my eyes.He should try apologizing and show more angst to Ceptillo for not only ruining his career, but for breaking a cardinal rule in a sport full of honorable combatants.Freddie should let this one pass..his heart is in a good place, but not many people would want to see Antonio suceed in the ring again.

  3. I sure as heck don't want to see Margarito succeed anymore. He doesn't deserve to be given the chance to win either. Freddie's a good guy, but he should really stay away from Margarito. That man's career is basically over.

  4. Margarito is dead to me and I am surprised Freddy is so laid back about it.
